Hi Jenna!

My name is Karly. I read one of your posts on the peacecorps2 yahoo group and linked to your blog. My husband and I decided a couple weeks ago to apply and I have been attempting to learn as much as possible about the process since then. From the little I have read, you seem INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the whole Peace Corps process. I was wondering if you might be able to be a resource to my husband and I throughout this process. I am hesitant to contact our recruiter about the seemingly endless list of questions I have. If you are willing, I would like to give you my e-mail address so we could communicate through that means. You seem like a very adventurous and passionate person and we would really appreciate any wisdom or input you could offer. Thanks for considering it!

Feel free to contact me about any questions you have regarding the PC, I can only speak from my own experience and what my friends have told me from their experience, but I think that by now, I know quite a bit! Also there are some great resources to check out:

Facebook groups "Peace Corps" and "Future Peace Corps Volunteers"
http://www.peacecorpsjournals.com <---blogs of peace corps volunteers, broken down by region and then by country, REALLY great to read those
http://www.peacecorpswiki.org

Those are some great resources and some great places to find out info and talk to others who are also in the process

Thanks so much! I have already spent numerous hours pouring over the blogs and information in the Yahoo groups and Wiki.

One question for you right off the bat, have you found a PC
"to-do" list anywhere? We are trying to think ahead as much as possible without putting all of our eggs in one basket. My e-mail address is karlycrawford@hotmail.com if that would be an easier means of communicating for you. Thanks for your help!
